Black-ish is an American sitcom television series created by Kenya Barris. It aired on ABC from September 24, 2014, to April 19, 2022, running for eight seasons with one hundred and fifty three episodes. Black-ish follows an upper class black family led by Andre "Dre" Johnson, an advertising executive (Anthony Anderson), and his wife, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross). The show revolves around the family's lives, as they juggle several personal and sociopolitical issues. The show also features the characters of Zoey, the oldest child (Yara Shahidi), Andre Jr. (aka Junior), the nerdy child of the family (Marcus Scribner), and twins Jack (Miles Brown) and Diane (Marsai Martin).
